What is Yard Bird? I've seen it in a few posts and it appears to be some kind of rub. I poked around in some of the forum areas (even checked the acronym list and tried a forum search) but I couldn't find any info on it.

Is it a particular brand or a common recipe many of you use?

Plowboys Yardbird is a great rub for chicken or pork.

It is Yardbird Rub made by Plowboys BBQ in Blue Springs, MO. Excellent product.
The term Yard Bird is simply a reference to chicken. Hope that helps.

Yardbird Rocks!

So does Bovine Bold, for that matter.

+ 1 for the yard bird! Just because it says it is for chicken and pork it will add great flavor to any beef grilled, bbq'ed, or smoked.
