Hot here too in Melbourne today. I coulda used that feed!
I didn't cook a meal today. I just sliced meats on my slicer and my kidz made their own Pizzas and snacks.
Was kinda nice!

Now that is a meal. Got my leftover oil from frying the turkey for Thanksgiving. No cod, but a freezer full of Mahi. Time for a fish fry I think!

It's a straight forward beer batter, brothers.
Use effervescent ale style beer half and half with soda water and beat into a bowl of flour.
I do it by eye depending on how much I need. Whisk with vigour is the key!
I use roughly 500ml per 200grams of flour.
Hope this works out for you and Moose.
