I usually just substitute whatever ground beef recipe you like with the brisket.
I rarely do an exact recipe with chili because I like experimenting, but IMO you can't go wrong starting off with Carroll Shelby's and then add from there.
I used crushed tomatoes, and beef stock as my base.
Kelley, aka EggObsessed, has one of the best non Texas Reds. She has won many awards and so have others who have made her Brisket Chili.
