I have been part of the forum for a number of years, off and on, and decided on starting over because I could not remember my past details. So here goes:
I started smoking fish as a child in the early 70's that my dad and I caught in the salt outside of Oceanside, CA. We used a Big and Little Chief. Man, that was fun times. Since then I have been smoking just about anything I can with the only limitations is my wife's picky eating profile. She sucks at BBQ; but I still love her. She pretty much only eats pulled pork, ribs, turkey and brisket so I concentrate on that. I throw some good stuff in for me as I can.
Anyway, I am nearing 60 now, retired, and try to fish 3 times a week until the snow flies. I am also an avid motorcycle rider so my time is pretty much taken with riding, smoking, and fishing. Life is totally tough for me. It makes those 30 years of work and sacrifice worth it.
