Pyle's BBQ
Babbling Farker
Roommate had some beef that was given to him by a friend of ours. He works for a towing company that recovers wrecked trucks. One wreck he was working had some beef on it and he was lucky enough to pick up some of the meat that was going to destroyed.
I had a leg of lamb that needed to be cooked.
I put a mixture of thyme, basil, garlic and olive oil on the leg of lamb.
I put the coals on one side of the grill and seared the tenderloin and leg over the coals. Then moved them to the other side of the grill for indirect heat. I used the last of my RO lump and some left over Seven Oaks lump. I took the tenderloin off at 130* in the larger end. The smaller end was done to about MR
The tenderloin was fork tender and very tasty.
