i'll have to try this again with some fresher dough

it would have been much better if the dough wasn't dead

I've never had a bad pizza........the worst I had was wonderful:lol:

Oh man, I miss, and I mean REALLY MISS true deep dish pizza. I've always liked the thick crust pizza but I didn't know how good it truly was until I lived up in Wuakegan for awhile and learned the merits of true Deep Dish. Too bad, I can't fins anything even close around these parts.

That looks great. Even with a flat crust.

Ya do know that it always tastes better in the morning. Fed Ex can have it at my door soon enough! That looks mighty tasty!

Yea Rick, that dough and pie looks horrible! I'd recommend you sending it about 7 hours west of you so you don't have to deal with it again!:twisted:

it is! with a little finely shredded parmesan, asiago, romano, and aged provolone cheese on top. mozzarella & provolone on the bottom

ahh...okies....but None of the Chicago Big names....i.e. Ginos, Nancys, Giordanos, Malnati's, Uno's do that....

nice touch with the more flavorful cheeses
