I picked the rainstorm on the Brazos as the bulk recipes are not my thing, but I'm still keeping an eye out for these renditions

The rain on the Brazos must be an old one you pulled out of the archives. No rain there for a while so I understand. Folks might have forgot what it looks like.

I forgot what Galveston was like until I went to Tybie Island last week. What a train wreck of a commercial mess that place was. Don't mean to hijack your thread, but seeing you are from Dickinson, I was reminded of Galveston Island and all the fun I had there years ago.

Is the Popdaddy/Pitmaster T cookbook coming out anytime soon?
Will it be a limited edition release party or do you plan a full tour with back up singers?:icon_smile_tongue:

Waaay back in the late 70s. I had a 26 foot inboard outdrive that I used to launch in Texas city and run out to the "near rigs" off Galveston to fish. Hung out at the yacht club some. Also use to fish off the big hotel pier some. Now gone I think. Good times.

I want to see how you ruined my perfect Shack Attack sauce recipe with that Purgatory mod. :p

I see.... the Hotel Pier, then "Flagship," which was built after Carla on top of the pleasure pier of the 1940's when that storm destroyed the Pleasure pier, has been removed and the Pleasure Pier restored to its former glory by Tilman Fertita, who married into the Maceo Family. Hee Hee.

The picture of the "Flagship" around the 1990's is what I remember. Looks just like it did when we used to fish off of it after work late at night. We would drive out from Houston and fish over night. Caught some good spec's about 6 8 pounds off of there. Thanks for the reminder of the name. I couldn't pull that out of my brain!

Fark, I thought you "Cooking with the Master" series. What happened to that contract?
