This past weekend I did a "frame-off" restoration of Black Betty, my
15-year-old Brinkmann Smokin N Pit. I thought about getting a new 26"
Weber OTG, but she is sentimental to me.

Man that really looks good, the shelf is the one thing that as of now I do miss quite often.
 
Nice job. I've got one of those that is also about 15 years old. Mine does not look like that:cry:
 
I used to have that pit til I got my BGE and I donated it to my 'prentice. Mine didn't look that good though.

What prep/paint did you use?? Looks awesome!!!
 
She's a Beaut!!

Nice to see that there are still folks that rebel against the "Throw it away and buy another" mentality!
