Here is some pr0n of my restore of the red kettle I got off craigslist a few weeks back for $20. She is wearing new wheels and legs and the one touch system. Cleaned her up real well with 0000 steel wool and elbow grease. Handles were coarse sanded, then fine and clear coated. A dab of touch of paint was used on the top handle. I decided to leave her other imperfections as is. The chicken was rubbed with butter, rosemary, garlic and a touch of The Rub Co. Santa Maria rub.

Wow it looks like new! Nice job!! Love the chicken too. :thumb:

Nice lookin' redhead you got there. I was surprised at how much the new legs added.

Good looking bird too!

Nicely done! The old girl looks pretty damn good with a proper wash down and some new shoes!!

Cheers

Cool..Same grill I got off CL for $5 about a month back for my UDS build. So easy to get these Webers at ridiculous prices around here.

Oh yeah, food looks damn good!!!!! Will have to try spatchcocking.

Great work! Does the redhead really turn a different shade of red when it's hot?

No idea, I didn't even know that. I might fire her up again today, and will pay close attention. If I had the ability to do a time lapse photo session I so would. :thumb:
