Whaddaya think? I couldn't find the UDS thread to look through it again but I don't think I've seen this used. I have three intakes equally spaced and so close to the bottom the nipples are almost resting on it. The nipples are 1". All three nipples are pierced and I adjust all three evenly. It was easier the second time. The third time I just left them set for 11 hours with no problems. Temp stayed around 200F - 250F on stubby thermometer threaded into the barrel just below the top grate. The lid has 8 1/2" holes. Close them nipples down and seal exhaust with tin foil and its cold in an hour.
Here's the lid. Tall lid for the dancing drunken chickens. Hence the name of this cooker. The tall lid UDS I'm building this week will be called the Slab Lab.

Here's the first one with cheap sheet magnets. I had to get cooking. Ya know?
