shoulder rubbed w/ italian spices & smoked over mesquite & oak to 150 then ovened for an hour. thin sliced w/ italian sausages.

piled on a toasted hoagie bun w/ melted swiss,parmesian & garlic.

my version of the giardiniria-tomato,garlic,onion,celery,&banana peppers sauteed in wine.it's what i had available.

Aye carumba. Wait, that's not right. Oooh la la. Nope, that's not it. Holy pharkin sh!t dat's pharkin unbaleevabuhl! Yeah that's it.
 
bet it tasted even better!.....now to find lunch in the city.....
 
well my topping ain't the norm & a toasted sourdough hoagie w/ the swiss,garlic,& parm(dash of basil) seems to be the ticket.:thumb:
i don't want to call the expert(Dr. BBQ out)i'd just love an opinion on my version.:icon_blush:

swiss cheese? no provolone, I guess it's a northern Italian sandwich, just kiddin', awesome looking sandwich
 
Looks great, and I could really go for onr right now.

Although I have to say... when I first looked at the dates I thought these pictures were from the future.... where did I put my tin foil hat....
