They'll make it right I'm sure but SERIOUSLY....Someone from Weber packaged that thing up and some quality control person obviously didn't check it. If you're as mad as i would have been I'd demand a full refund and put a UDS or two together....use all your money savings for meat.
That looks almost exactly like the lid I got when I picked mine up two weeks ago. The box looked like they tried to pick a stack up with a pallet jack, but unfortunately, they weren't on a pallet. Mine had one hole in it, maybe yours was on the other side?
Oh, and they told me they could over night a replacement to me, but this was late Friday and they didn't have anyone that worked weekends. Hurry and call them and they might be able to get one out today that gets to you tomorrow.
Wow. I was expecting to see a ding of some sort or a scratch. That looks brutal. Weber is usually solid when it comes to customer service and typically doesn't play the "that must have happened during delivery and is the carrier's fault...you'll have to take it up with them" game.
