May have found a way to keep produce fresher longer.

6 full days in. Last one and Wife will kill it tomorrow.


I may have to get her to buy a double bunch and put one on the counter and the other with the blue apples like the video did. This was far from scientific.


Last one still looks good 6 days later.

There are only 2 days of banana ripeness preference for me. And I won’t even buy them unless they’re a little green.

The interweb sez to wrap the stems with plastic wrap. Supposedly that keeps the 'nannas from drying out.

I read that as well. I had a bunch of bananas and immediately broke them in half, wrapped the stems of one bunch in plastic wrap and left the other bunch open. Honestly, there was not one whit of difference between the two bunches after three days. Granted this was a small sample size and it wasn't double blind. It did make me wonder if anyone else tried this. Probably should do a web search, but I'm lazy.
