DAL and DAF at the same contest

We did a small FBA contest this weekend here in Marianna.

We felt that our Chicken was pitifull---and the Judges agreed.
DAL--Dead A** Last.

We felt our Brisket was a winner---and the Judges agreed.
DAF--Dead A** First.

Great contest and the first ever only 6 miles from my house.:-D

Our congrats to all who walked and finished much better than we did!

1st place brisket ( wow)

Even though small you had two of the top brisket cooks in the country there, so be proud. As for the chicken, sometimes the judges can harsh. It is hard to believe that believe that you had the worst chicken there !

Next year I'll be competing here rather than Venice. We should be able to increase the number of teams a lot based on what I heard.

And congrats on the first in Brisket. That was a tough brisket field.
