I was wondering how many top ten overall of the 21st Annual Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue finished in the top 10 of the KCBS TOY points?
 
NONE!!!

7 Lakeside Smokers
8 Cool Smoke

2 IOWA'S SMOKEY D'S

5 Smoke on Wheels

Half of the KCBS TOY top 10 weren't invited to the Jack. None of the KCBS top 10 finished in the top 10 of the Jack.

All but 1 were at the American Royal. Just sayin.
 
All great teams, but a lot of numbers have to do with KCBS toy. The more comps the better the chances, just based on percentages.

Winner of the TOY dominated all year.

The Winner of The Jack took delivery of his Jambo Pit only ten months earlier after years of cooking vertical.

The winner of The Jack also cooked less than 10 KCBS events in 2009.

I think the top 10 at the Jack and the top 10 in the TOY are the best of the best. I am not sure what you are trying to compare here ??
 
How many are willing to cook Non-KCBS events that are Qualifiers to get a chance to score a Jack invite? Just curious?
