Is size the only difference between a fryer and a roaster?
What's a henway??? About 4 lbs. (Is that a fryer or a roaster)?

A larger bird would be too much for me.
I'd rather cook a smaller fryer if they're suitable for Q'ing.

Fryers are smaller and less plump than roasters. A fryer is usually 3 to 5 LBs where a roaster is 6 to 8 LBs.

For best flavor, I prefer a bird that weighs at least 5 pounds or more. Those scrawny little chickens don't seem to have as much flavor and have less fat, therefore not as moist either.

Fryers are younger birds and generally more tender and not as flavorful as roasters. Of course you're welcome to cook them as you like, no problem there, but for best results there is a reason they have those names.
