Hi, here's my new side yard bbq area project in progress. It's all concrete and the area will eventually have a pergola over it as well. My smokers and other freestanding grills will reside in the nook at the far side of the counter.
Ground slabs will eventually get stained and bbq counter base, color stuccoed.
Thanks for looking!

First order of business was to completely knock down 8 feet of the block wall, plus some more to reduce height to open up the area.

Ooo, someone knows their concrete! Very nice, keep us informed w/ the pics.

That is very nice! Looks like you have done a lot of hard labor there. You are on a steep slope that creates even more work but you've done a fine job! Kep us posted. :thumb:

Looking good the best thing about Concrete.... you don't have to Mow it:grin:

Wow, That's awesome! Do you have any pics of the forms before you filled them for the top? I want something like this for my grilling patio, gonna have to start watching some youtube vids.

Sorry, I did not take any pics detailing the forms with rebars and all.
I actually picked up many tips from watching You Tube vids on pouring concrete.
