I've got 2 racks of ribs (St.Louis cut) and a 3lb pork butt to smoke tomorrow. Might do them on the pro but was thinking about using a rib rack and doing them on the akorn with the pork butt on the little round rack above the main rack. Mostly because I have things to do and I don't have to watch the akorn as closely.
Do you think it would work like that or do I not want the butt dropping it's drippings on the ribs?

It will be fine, the juice from the butt will add flavor. Keep in mind that sometimes smaller pork butts take longer than most calculate..
