It's been awhile since I've made and eaten my favorite nuts so yesterday I put a batch together. Combine all the ingredients and smoke at 300 till done stirring every 15-20 minutes.
Used extra Cayenne this time and I do mean extra. Turned out great.

Look great. For some reason I thought nuts were smoked a low temps like cheese. I will need to get some rolling this summer.

Seriously....is the actual recipe with quantities posted somewhere?

I've been wanting to do smoked almonds for some time.

What's that stuff between the Schirarcha and the Wooster Sauce????

Dale's. Excellent stuff. Love this on pork chops especially.

Knowing my love of all things hot and spicy, those wouldn't last long at my place.

I felt funny clicking on this thread, but I'm glad I did. Who doesn't like hot nuts? :noidea:

I think there might be a recipe somewhere but I never measure, so if I did post a recipe, the amounts were guesstiments. I'm a shake and pour by look kind of cook!
