I finally finished the UDS thread (still waiting for t-shirt) and decided to see what all of the fuss is about. I'm impressed so far. On a cold and windy night, I was able to stabilize temps at several stops up to 360F with 1 nipple and the ball valve open.

First cook was untrimmed chicken seasoned with Plowboys. It was mighty good stuff...kind of a cross between grilled and smoked. The skin was bite thru with no special preparation or cooking.

I have 5 packers to try out some low and slow with this weekend.

There are 3 pictured and one not pictured. Feeling the need to catch up, I made 4 drum cookers.:mrgreen:
 
you need to go to your meeting uds meeting of the men we talk about drums and look for ways to kick the habbit lol cool looking drum and chicken looks good also :biggrin:

That chicken looks good. I need to find me a drum to convert into a UDS.
