There is a place in Murrell's Inlet (about 15 min south of MB) called Bovines. The wood fired steaks are great. Hold off on the ribs though...slathered in sauce...

Angelos Steak and Pasta in South MB is good as well.

If you like Italian, give Villa Romana's a try. Everyone I know that has been there loved it. I'm pretty simple, so I always go with the Chicken Parm, which is amazing. My wife, on the other hand, likes it a little fancier. She gets the Frutti Di Mare. That one dish is her favorite thing in Myrtle Beach. She likes it more than the beach itself...
