Mushroom Sticks or Portable Portabello

So I had some 'bellos that I was going to stuff and grill for dinner, but the wife got us invited to dinner tonight. I had to do something with them while they were still fresh, and I figured bringing an appetizer to dinner would be appropriate. So this is what I came up with.

Everyone seemed to like them. I haven't ever done this before and was pleased with the results. I still would have preferred them as burgers, but what can you do?
