Heavy Rubber Meat Handling cooking gloves?

For those that don't feel like ordering something online or waiting for something to be shipped, the Lowes around here carries insulated PVC-coated gloves. They look very similar to the Black Knights, but are somewhere around $7 or $8. They are blue. I've used them for pulling butts and they work really well for that.
 
Are any of these gloves recommended to handle food? They say good for grease, mining, harsh chemical, etc.. What does that really mean.............that the glove won't be damaged? I'm concerned that the glove will transfer something to the food.

Just for the record. Red gloves allow you to handle hotter meat than any other color.
