I picked up this 1958/59 Weber kettle in a trade a while back. It features:

* Metal handle top
* Wood Dale, ILL stamped vent
* Steel wheels and caps with rubber tread and white walls
* Aluminum legs with thumbscrews
* Ash pan with metal clips

Another great score, very jealous. Looks to be in great shape, especially for the age. Have you ever had opportunity to get one of the original kettles, made from a buoy?

Great score.

Is that a black seville in the background>?

It is similar to a Seville. It is called a Woodard. Weber and the Woodard Company partnered to make these for several years throughout the 1970's thru early 1980's. The Woodard company also made the Seville carts.

Very nice - that's in great condition!
