Yep, you're all invited to N Texas Brethren Bash 11-19-2016.
This year it will be at:

Overlook Pavilion at Lake Belton
3110 FM 2271
Belton, TX 76513

November 19, 2016

It is near Temple TX. Nice location, great facilities and easy in and out for most of us. There is a large Pavilion with quite a few picnic tables. On site restrooms and running water at the hose bib. You can bring your camp chairs and coolers if you like.

If you want to bring a cooker that's great. If not, we should have space somewhere if you want to bring something to cook.
And if you just want to hang out, possible have a few adult beverages and partake in some great food and Q, well that OK too.

Looks like I will bring along my BGE MiniMax this year.

Just click on the sign up sheet in my Signature Line and let us know who's coming please.

We will be there pretty much all day. Any questions just let us know.
Paul, pjteaxas1 is a local and can answer pretty much any question about the area.

Looks like for the Bash this Fall we, Shelly and I, are going to cook some Dill Pickle Brined Apple Wood Smoked Spicy yard bird strips on the BGE MiniMax. My plan is to do a final trial cook tomorrow going both direct and with a bit of Apple wood for a hint of smoke.

First round went like this:

(Normally I would post a great picture or two here,
but Photo Bucket has seen the need to do a bit of maintenance at the moment) :crazy:

So I guess you will just have to see and taste for yourself at the Bash!! :mrgreen:


This next week we will work on our homemade Chorizo Meatloaf. We may just make in a few smaller loafs
