• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

You have a thankfull lurker

My son-in law wanted something he could do for real BBQ at his Condo in Houston.

His choices were a bunch of horizontal offset cookers and the new(and un-improved) Bandera.

After having Brisket, various pork cuts, ribs, whole Salmon, and even a baby pig come out of mine he made the right choice (IMHO).

He came onto the site and found out what was needed - he made ALL of the mods.

However, the "seasoning cook" took a lot of pant off - Charmglow? has got to work on QC.

First cook was a brisket, two pork pork butts, and baby back ribs - ambitious yes But it worked - used Pecan and Hickory.

Trying to get him to "come out of the closet" and not lurk but you never know

Wow!

I thought it was all about the pork fat!

Either way, tell your son to come out and play.

Tell him to come play with the big boys! Fatties is where it's at  .

I was the same way when I first found the board, and still do more lurking than posting, but look forward to seeing him come around.
