• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Hello guys. My brother (SmokeInDaEye) and I grew up in Texas (Dallas & Austin) and moved to NY about 15 years ago. We have both been into BBQ our whole lives and have just started getting serious about cooking it. I am a trained as a chef but run restaurants as opposed to cooking for a living. We competed in our first competition last weekend and got our butts kicked (no pun intended). So far everyone of the bretheren we have met have been awesome, thanks for all the advice guys. I look forward to learning from all of you and eating lots of really good que.

It's good to have you here, and since you mentioned the butt kicking I should let everybody else know that you guys finished 5th in grilling on Saturday. That's something to be proud of!
