It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I have a couple kettles and a couple WSM and will be purchasing a rotisserie in the very near future. Is using the rotisserie on the WSM a total useless action? Is there any benefit to it? I understand why on the kettle but the extra space on the WSM I believe eliminates the need. Am I off base with my thinking?

I have the Weber rotis for my kettle. FYI it is not compatible with the WSM so I never tried it on the WSM. You’ll need a Cajun bandied rotis for the WSM.

Look on this page to find “ Fits: 22 inch Weber® charcoal grills. Not compatible with Smokey Mountain Cooker Smokers.”

I think Spatchcock chicken is fine on the WSM. No need to rotis.

My Cajun bandit fits both my kettle and my WSM. I’ve used it on the WSM a few times. It makes a bigger difference if you take the water bowl out so the drippings can get on the coals. If you don’t the roti doesn’t make much of a difference in the WSM

I too have a Cajun Bandit rotisserie. I use on both the WSM and the Kettle. It works great. I also remove the water bowl when using the WSM.
