Has anyone created a mod to get a WSM big dome lid to fit on an UDS? I've seen the kettle lids but not the WSM

xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.
WSM Lid to fit on Drum?

I have a brand new WSM lid for the drum but once I realized it didn't fit I was stuck

somebody shut me the fark up.
Could you add a metal strip on the inside of the opening to fix the problem?
Do you have a picture of the lid and drum together?

It could be done. You would have to fabricate a ring.
Did something similar to a 14.5 WSM.
You would have to put the "lip" on both ends of the ring.
fwiw - you probably would only need the "lip" at one end of the ring & could add some tabs to the other end. Something like Weber does for their rotisserie ring.
