• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I have a roll of clean, blank newsprint, 24" wide. Can use it to wrap my stuff with that instead of butcher paper? I know I'd have to double or triple it up, but it doesn't seem that it would be any different than using a paper shopping bag, does it?

I'd think no matter how many layers you have, the inside layer might just get soggy and then stick to the meat, and then be stuck trying to pick off cooked on paper from the meat? I dunno, try doing a test on a smaller piece of meat.

Only you can decide if it matters.

To me the issue would be the manufacturing process; Food Safe Grade Paper has a manufacturing process specific for being in contact with food. Newsprint is a different process and may have chemicals not allowed in food grade process.

Again only you can decide, I see people all the time use brown paper bags as well as other papers. Only you know your level of comfort with things like this.

guess that does it, i'll use it for something else. thanks for the feedback fellas.
