• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Here was the results:

xxx xxxxxxxxxxx, FL 32446United [email protected] Your Cart Total:Product Total:$5.20Shipping/Handling (By the LBS):$25.00Tax:$0.32

Final Total:$30.52

Kinda pricey, as expected.

I have shipped some wood to Brothers in CO and ND and other places.
Most of the time, the shipping was about 75 cents per pound.
But, If you really need it at $1.20 per pound +/-, ....?

FWIW.

There's a method to my madness.......as this thread is ready to drop off the main page, it will get moved to For sale and the duplicate deleted....

They sell their wood down here at Academy so I can save the shipping charge. The only problem with the Mesquite is that it generally is not split and I don't have an axe currently. The pecan is pretty good though. HEB sells their hickory chunks also, but no where near this cheap.

My Academy sells the Hickory, Pecan, and Mesquite wood. It's $10 for a 25lb. bag. That beats the shipping costs by a mile.

Jalapeno

Thanks for the link! That is a great price and just a short drive south of Dallas. Got sime nice looking lump too.

I get 50 lb bags of hickory, mesquite or pecan for $10.00 at the local grocery.
