• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Just finished stacking our splits. The pile is three rows deep or about 5 foot, so we now have enough wood to cook a few Ribs and Briskets. Big thanks to my brother John Guido and my family Christine Guido, Biaggio Guido and Gianna Guido for all the help in acquiring, loading, transporting, and stacking this massive load of wood.

I can't wait to cook for all of you!

Joining this forum has made me look at many things differently. Every year I get a half cord of aged hickory and oak to burn in my fireplace. Now I look out at my wood pile and all I see is fuel for a stick burner. Gotta get one soon.

Nice load! Wish I had all that help today when I was unloading and splitting a nice bunch of pecan limbs! Some were bigger round than my leg!

When i was young id always split a few cords for the winter, our only smoking then was cold smoked.
Im curious now because smoke wood is scarce here in panama. How many 8hr cooks are in that pile with your Lang 84?
I'm fighting myself on stick burning because of supply.
