Wings in bulk??

In a couple of weeks, I'm going to be cooking 40 pounds of hot wings in the SKD. I'm told it's about 8 wings per pound, so we are somewhere in the 300 wing range.

I'm figuring a gallon of Franks and 4 pounds of butter for the wing sauce. Does that sound about right?

more than enough, you'll have some left over, but not much.

Add some pitbull hot sauce to that mix and you'll have some great wings.
