• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Seeing as how I couldn't keep from making the offer, I have about a dozen orders from people at work AND a 35-40 person broker meeting to cook for this weekend. so... Saturday, I'll have on the following:

10 pork butts
3 briskets
12 slabs of ribs
8 bone-in chicken breasts
10 Fatties


I think I'll be tired by Saturday night but I hope to hook up with new MoFo brother Stan and his wife for a few brews at the local watering hole and take in some live country music.

That's a chitload of meat. Good thing I like to Q. :roll:
 
Doing 2 butts over a brisket on the WSM. My freezer's getting low!!!

I am doing ribs & sausage. Hey, I'm trying Bad Byron's Butt Rubb on the ribs. I've heard it's kind of salty...any suggestions?
 
Not me. I'm still on frozen que until the move. The B-tard is making us miss out on closing tomorrow like scheduled.

appetizer party on Sunday. Serving refrigerator rolls, a small homemade roll, and pulled pork...mini-sammiches!!! mmmmMMMMmmmmm

I have four butts on the FE now, 9 slabs of spares in the morning plus 10 pounds of chicken. Office party on Friday.
 
OK. Now I feel dumb, but what's an FE? Is there a dictionary somewhere I can look up all these abbreviations?

It's been a few weeks so I'm firing it up big time.

-A half butt bone in ham (got a recipe from kickass' site)
-two fatties stuffed w/ pepperjack cheese & minced garlic
-meat loaf stuffed w/ red peppers, green peppers, garlic, & onions
 
Two butts on the offset
Two fatties and a pack of drummettes on the ECB
Spam musubi's


The function: Wifes work friends and kids are coming to our place on Sunday for food football, and a little beer and wine consumption...
 
Brisket for needy family, Fatties, Ribs and/or leg quarters for us. Maybe some steaks.
 
My wife's birthday is tomorrow and I'm going to give her the bird. Turkey, that is. It'll go into a simple brine later today and into the smoker in time for dinner tomorrow night. She also asked that I make a sage sausage stuffing with dried cranberries to go along with it. She got the recipe from Bob Evans and it sounds pretty good.
