• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Seen a lot of great burgers on here and a lot of copycat all over. When you have the crowd over .... do you assemble the burgers according to specs or do you just provide everything .... toss it to the crowd ... and say have at it ? Are you a mini diner ? or is it just too much ?

Smashburgers on my griddle get cheese and grilled onions before they hit the plate, I’ll throw some sliced veggies & condiments on the table for anyone who wants it.

Depending how big the crowd is Mike. My rule is if it's about 5-6 people, I have them assemble everything and I just lay the patty down on their burger. If it's a specialty burger or a rather large crowd I'd rather do everything myself and serve. I did a July 4th party doing copy cat In N Out burgers some time back and had about 30 people so it was a no brainer to just do it myself instead creating a clusterfark.

A lot burgers to make even on the 36 blackstone so I fed the kids and women first, the men after.

It depends. If it's just the two of us, then I will make it, as I know how she likes her burgers. If we have anyone else over-then I setup the whole spread and let the crowd assemble.

Thats what I suspected and usually do myself. Might have known the Sako drive through is a bit different ... but there are simple specialty burgers that can be done sako style ... thanks all ..

Dang !!! You've got to move pretty fast to get all that together .... and .... with grilled onions !!!

I add the cheese and put the burger on the bun. I recently put the bottom of the bun on top of the cheeseburger then flipped it onto the platter and put the top on. This way the cheese didn't stick to the bun when they put the toppings on. Brilliant or so I thought.
Boy was I wrong lol you would have thought I committed the worst food crime ever
