• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I recognize 3 people in that pic!

Ray, Phil and I think that's Greg in the back...

The t-shirted person you speak of is no other than The Grand Pooh Bah

Parrot head I believe is behind him to the right as you look at the picture!

I'll get this wrong (cuz I forget the guy in the white hat, even though I nutted him) but:

Ray (DrBBQ), Rob (BrooklynQ), Rob? (white hat), Bruce (brucesieg), Phil (BBQChef33), Greg (Parrothead)

Ray, Rob(BQ), Paul, Brucesieg, me, Parrothead.

Hey - wait a cotton pickin minute here. I didn't sign any permissions for my face to be published. I may be in for some money.

Or an airbrushing.

I just got that book too, but I haven't made it that far yet.

COOL!

I always have a flip through to get a feel for the book before reading cover to cover. I'm about 50 pages into the meat of the book, so a lot of reading to go!!! I'll also pick three of four recipes from the book and cook them as written before tailoring them to my taste.

I did initially have a scare as I opened the book on the 1st of April and all the recipes contain meat replacements....

Phil, so my Mother lied, it's not eating greens that makes you big, it's Q

im not big, i am gravitationally challenged.

I wondered about that. Wouldn't you have to sign a release (or get paid) to be published?

Still, it's a great photo. Me, I'd be happy with my unexpected celeb status.

It's not like you're on the cover!!!!!

Maybe its a cunning way of Ray selling more books, I dare say you've all just placed an order for a copy!!!

"Pleasantville bandits rob trophy shop"

Seriously though, congrats to all you ugly guys.

I've got to about the three quarter mark in the book and I've come to the conclusion that Ray has written a UK Barbecue book with a US slant.

It reminds me of The Barbecue Bible (Steven Raichlen) crossed with Feast: Food That Celebrates Life (Nigella Lawson).

It’s a good book but it’s a 75% Grill, 15% kitchen oven, 10% BBQ.

It’s got Rays the humour of his first book written all over it but it looks as if he’s gone after the Grilling market with his second book unlike his first book.
