Hello All, I just realized I went from a “lurker” to having multiple questions, polls, and post without so much as even introducing myself. That was why at this point, I wanted to introduce myself and get to know all of you a little better.
My name is Mark and I am a Colorado Native. I am a backyard griller at heart, but dabble in smoking. I have seen some promising results from some of my initial endeavors like the picture I use on my avatar which was my first brisket I ever smoked and thought the smoke-ring was worth taking a picture of.
I originally found this site after purchasing my Smoke King Deluxe and was reading up on some of the Mods that had been done to the Bandera. Since then I have been a fan of this site. For the last couple of years as I have got more in to smoking and just recently had some questions and items I wanted to discuss.
I am a tech salesmen who is a sucker for a cool gadget and have a DVR full of recorded BBQ shows. I enjoy watching and learning nearly as much as grilling myself, although there isn’t the reward of a finished meal at the end.
