What's Smoking on this fine Saturday morning?

We have a a 14lb pork picnic roast that I am finishing up thawing in cold water this morning. Lighting the Kamado grill to get it warming up soon and putting it on at about 7:00-7:30 depending on when it gets settled in on temp. I hadn't planned to cook today but after yesterday well needed to just fire it up and start fresh... get it fresh ha ha. If I don't laugh I will be miserable so had to stick a corny joke in there.

Just throwing this out there too if you haven't seen it over in the competition forum gettinbasted and shake and bake are putting on a raffle to benefit Kookers Kare. Got 4 1/2 lbs of Jerky inside on the dehydrator. I'll be firing the WSM in a bit for jerky making as well! Still in the low 20's here this morning! Might make some smoked bratwursts out of the bratwursts I made last night!

Btw I have 15lbs of jerky meat all together to do today! Wish I had a 2nd dehydrator :thumb:
