• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

4# buffalo brisket, brined for 8 hours, pork and bacon cheap fatty, point from last brisket cook for burnt ends, and 6.5# of country style butt ribs.

What y'all got cookin'?

6.5 # left hand packer brisket went on at 9:00 AM along with a Bob Evans Maple fatty. Later threw on a big turkey liver and made pate' with it. Beef short ribs went on at 1:00 PM. All on the 'dera. Trying out my new home made basket, chamber is maintaining higher temps than I'm used to. Going to have to keep a closer eye on things. Burn times have greatly increased 3.5hrs on inital fire steady 250*

nothing fresh.

About to chop up a smoked pork loin from last Saturday and make a pot o chili.

Nothing for me today. We are playing with the new embroidery machine I got the OL for her birthday last week. It is farking cool. Once we get that "official" logo I can digitize it and embroider on just about anything.

Enough of that gay stuff. I'll probably throw something on the grill later.

Why change now?

Most of everything I cooked Weds. is gone......youngest son can and will eat a ton of pulled pork. Friday morning he was having it for breakfast.

I thought about doing some ribs today, but decided just to rest instead.
Now I wished I had of cooked........

Hot links. Grilled to perfection on the antique Webber. And oh yes........home grown tomatoes.

There's only two things that money can't buy,
True love and home grown tomatoes!

Had some leftover Ham from last weekend...getting ready to play some music tonight. Think in the morning I will put on a 6 lb pork shoulder, maybe some corn on the cob. MMMmmmMMM now that sounds good.

Not a dang thang yet! I still have to do the initial seasoning burn on my new Dera! I am ordering my Nu Temp remote therm. right now as we speak!

I just polished off 3 cold White Castles and a half burrito from last night.

Too stuffed to cook mod

Just had breakfast (1p.m.) Scrambled Eggs, Biscuits and sliced fatty. Breakfast of champions! Not smoking today. I'm cooking Pork Neck bones, Collard greens and Smothered potatoes and onions for MrsMista tonight.

Went to the 99 cents store today and guess what they had? John Morrell fatties. Of course I stocked up! I'm dangerous in that place...

16 boston butts and 6 racks of spares, then going to put BBs on the dera to try it out.....
