• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Well I will start the thread.

I am doing chicken to start with. One will be beer can and the other butterflied I will brine the second one.

Any one know of a good spicy brine?

Then I will probably add a few fatties and some japs stuffed with cream cheese and sausage mixture and of course bacon will cover them. I may just through in a bunch of bacon in as well and then keep it in the freezer to eat on. I am going to go check the freezer to see what else I have.

What is everyone else doing?

Not cooking but I have tickets to the game, it has been forcasted there will be rain, lots of rain. So it will be a resturant before the game for food and drinks. Now if Seattle wins I have tickets to the NFC Championship game also, if the rain slow even a little we'll be tailgating.

PS SeaHawks 24 to 17 over Redskins

Barbecued meatballs. Store bought meat balls in a crock pot covered with bbq sauce.
Quick and easy mod.

Haven't even thought about it yet. How does panther meat stand up to Q'ing? Go Bears! BEAR DOWN!

Nothing at all. Letting others do the cooking this weekend.

Well lets see....Figure Sea and Chi for the winners. Got to gas burgers for the VFW Saturday which means a big pot of world famous Kitchen Sink Beans....Interested in what the hell that is I will share with you...As in Sea, predicted to rain here this weekend (remember it never rains in California but when it does!!!!) and that may screw the pooch as the grills are outside. Sunday is up in the air, may break in that new fire basket for the hell of it.....The following weekend Sacramento and the next is about 50 pounds of Brisket for you got it, Dinner at the V....Busy couple of weeks....

One of my buddies is throwing a birthday party for his young daughter so I will be grilling a couple of cases of Teriyaki chicken. Should be just enough for about 40-50 Samoans! *lol*

Sounds good.....Ever use Finni Dinni sauce (Guamanian grilling and dipping sauce) to marinade instead of Terriaki...Man that is good!!!

Cooking Saturday for my Grandson's 3rd Birthday ( what ever he wants ) usually spaggetti. Sunday my 17 year old daughter is having 16 people over for pulled pork and fixin's.

Ummmmm.......make that 18 people.....what time do we eat again?

Havent bother to clean the grease out of the Turkey Fryer from thanksgiving, so if nothing is crawling in there, might be wing time

Anyone have a basic flour or cornmeal coating they use?

Fry em naked. Sprinkle with Tony C's as soon as they come out og the grease. Then I use straight Franks for dippin'.

I still have the oil in my turkey fryer from New Year's Eve. How long will that stuff stay good, and how many times can you use it?

As for the weekend, unless I can squeeze in some ribs on Sunday, I ain't cookin'... My daughter is having 8 friends over tomorrow night for a birthday gathering, and then we're going to my BIL's house on Saturday evening for a late Christmas party.
