• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Ribs look great, but if you've been spending the morning with brother Jack you may want to stay away from the fire this afternoon.

Nice looking ribs. I'm at work so no cooking for me.

Just about to pull the bb's out. I almost think I'd rather be smokin a little jack instead.
Chow down!

Sounds good! I have a fridge full of beer but I think you've inspired me to pick up the fixin's for some L'burg Lemonade on the way home. Thanks!

I'm not even going to say what I'm getting ready to eat.
And I'm not going to talk about the play I'm going to go see in a couple of hours...with my wife AND my mother-in-law. :(

10 pounds of leg quarters and 6 slabs of babybacks.......I forgot to take pictures of the ribs.....but the quarters came out great!

Well after spending $6 on 8oz of jerkey that tasted like cardboard with salt and pepper, and before the Bosslady kicks my tail for being stupid and buying that crap, I came home and picked our a Pikes Peak Roast, sliced it and marinated it over night. Spent 4 hours on the smoker and man does it taste AWESOME. It may not look pretty, but dont let that stop your imagination and smellavesion

All Thanks to 'cmcadams' and his Blog !!

... I saw his new smoker post, then his blog, then he posted a bit more. Wow! Local Costco responded with some great fresh Tuna like we seldom see here in the high desert. I just tried to emulate instructions and we had as superb a Satirday evening meal as we could ask for!

Seared Black Sesame Encrusted Tuna, scratch Caesar salad, bottle of soft Chenin Blanc (yes, a bit sweet, but a perfect complement), even a biscotti with some hot , freshly ground, Starbucks French Roast. It just doesn't get much better !!

All thanks to the Forum and cmcadams!

Oh Tommy, Ronnell sees starbucks and he'll go crazy. (RonL is a coffee snob)

Well ..... thank goodness for Costco and the big bags! I pooh-pooh'd it for a long time, but they got me. Just had to 'round out' the total meal picture .. heh..heh..

That's a great looking piece of fish, Tom!

The pizza thread this week had me inspired, so I tried the Cook's Illustrated grilled pizza recipe. Turned out very nice even though the farking dog ate a raw dough round when my back was turned. I added a few anchovies which were almost too much. Still a nice supper and a nice way to feed my pizza jones. Here are some pics- one of my helper getting the dough ready, and one of the finished product.

Shohn,

.... she can make pizza for me anytime !! no way it can be anything but great.

Kevin .... that looks great! fine looking crust and good balance with doneness of toppings. I struggle with that balance constantly.

Yummm!

Great looking food guys except I don't think Kick cooked ribs or anything for that matter. That looks like the same chicken he cooked 2 years ago and he changed the date on the photo.

Hey! I resemble that remark!

Actually, Tommy came up with a great use for Starbucks... Much better than drinking it!

I was up early yesterday cooking 7 racks of spares to take to my BIL's luau. I used a sweet-hot rub, cooked them with mango wood and sprayed them with mango juice. I served them with some Bone Sucking sauce doctored with some pineapple juice and mango juice. I cut them into two-rib pieces. They lasted about 45 minutes!
