• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

What took me so long to find this place

Just surfed in and signed on at once. One parent from each side of the Ohio River. Dad from Indiana and mom from Kentucky. That make me a Kentuckiana. Lots of good Q in Evansville and across the river in Owensboro and Henderson KY. Got my first grill in the early 60s. A flat pan with a heat shield. A brick pit later and now a Chargriller Smokin' Pro since I moved back to town. Still got a gasser in the garage that doesn't see much action. In this area we mostly like our Q simmered in sauce rather than add it on at the table.

All my family is from just south of Owensboro. Got a couple of gallons of Moonlight burgoo in the freezer. When it gets down to one gallon I will have to put a call in.
 
Burgoo, Goetta, 3ways, cheese coneys, Thats what I love about this region. Now just some place for a good Philly beef and cheese.
