What Do You Enter for People's Choice or Misc.

We are entered into a contest that has People's Choice or Misc category. There is no seperate side dish, salsa or dessert entry.

What do you enter for the People's Choice or Misc? Do you enter a side dish or another meat? Have you had better luck with the side dishes?:-D

Typically the contest has that already set. If not and you still want to do it, just do something cheap, like baked beans or something. Stay away from the Lobster and Prime Rib.
IMHO,I feel a peoples choice contest is bias towards locally cooks.
I've won the last 2 years in a row with chili at a local contest but it fails to score outside of that. So if it's your home town, go for it and good luck.

This weekend the peoples choice meat was provided to us. (it was pork shoulder)
On the Misc. (anything butt) we turned in baked beans w/ burnt ends.
The winner of that catagory did stuffed strawberries.
