Weekend Cook 2/18/06

Can't cook this weekend due to work, but I'll be pulling out the old BSKD for a relaxing smoke today. Plan on cookin a couple of butts and maybe some ribs. Will try to post pics.

Firing up the Bandera for some ribs on Saturday. First fire since early January. Weather is gonna suck but the ribs are for Dad's birthday that afternoon. Hitting the store this evening to see what kind of sausage is gonna join the ribs...

I plan on doing a couple butts, a brisket and some ribs. It will be very cold here over the weekend, so I will probably use the WSM for the butts and dot he ribs on the 'Dera.

My weekend cook will consist of ribs and chicken and "already started" brisket and pork butt at Bob Snelson's competition cooking school Saturday. I just hope it's mostly indoors because it's supposed to be farking snowy and 18 degrees that day!

My babies have not been used since Sept, they are getting lonely. I may have to put a couple of butts in there along with a barn yard pimp (rooster) and let it ride. Has anyone tried the new Kingsford? How is working for you guys?

I have a lot of really good leftover Que from Winter Haven.
I think I will work on some of the great presentation ideas elsewhere on the board about "fine dining" with the leftovers.
Have some ideas that just might "kick it up" :lol:
I am totally open to new ideas.

Then, just enjoy the Datona 500- at least the best I can for a restrictor plate race :lol:
