somebody shut me the fark up.
I had a busy weekend and still trying to take it all in, Saturday afternoon I took the KCBS CBJ Class taught by Brother Brethren and President of the Western BBQ Association Jim Minion. It was a very good class and I plan to Judge at the Washington State Spring BBQ Championship on April 28-29 http://www.wbbqa.com/
Sunday I took the Pitmaster Cooking Class with Paul Kirk sponsored by the PNWBA http://www.pnwba.com/
I brought along my WSM and UDS and was paired up with Keith and his WSM. I had a great time and even though things were not clicking for me, Keith kept things focused. We took a Fourth Place in Brisket (cooked on the UDS) as the Sink Brothers. There were 18 Teams participating in the class. Here are a few pics.

One of the more unique pits at the class!
After taking the Judging class and then having my cooks scored by learning judges gave me a better perspective of what the competitors go through and what I thought I knew about BBQ ain't chit! You guys don't have it easy, but it was fun!
