• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Called Weber last week about the colored probe tube melting off on my iGrill 2 (they just bought it from iDevices). The rep on the phone asked me what I was cooking with and I told him my trusty old Genesis Silver and my shiny new PBC. He asked why I didn't buy a WSM and I told him that my PBC came with the Eagle, Globe and Anchor (USMC logo) on it and that a portion of the proceeds is donated to a charity for veterans and their children.

The replacement probe arrived on Tuesday and then today, I got home from work to find this in the mailbox:

I guess that Franswa at Weber was listening to what I was saying. My next toy will be the Performer!:clap2:

Good story, all to rare these days

Excellent customer service. My new Weber 26" showed up and had a small ding in the lid. Cosmetic really but I called anyway. I have a brand new lid on the way, told me keep the old one as a spare :) very easy and awesome to have a company back their product.

You had a great answer to her question and she had a great response. Well played.

I have never had a bad experience with Weber customer service. Once the unit is registered, they will get parts to you quick and most times free.
