Wanting to say hi

My name is Amber and my husband Alan has been a member on here for a little while. I'm jumping on board to be able to compete against him. Usually I do all prep and plating and he does the cooking, however I'm in on the movement with some of the other wives to take full credit for our own dishes. ( The chance to possibly show the hubby up is an added bonus:p). Just want to say hi to everyone.

Welcome Amber! You go girl! I just joined last weekend so have not yet competed against my hubby, deguerre, but plan to soon...maybe in "fried". I never plated for him until the XL throwdown but after all the responses about how much his plating skills suddenly improved, I thought hmmm, took the advice of some of the members and joined. :thumb:

This is a lot of fun. And it doesn't matter if you win or lose.....just as long as
you get more votes than your husband. My husband and I still help each other out with stuff but it adds another dimension to the fun.
And I REALLY like beating him :becky:

Welcome to you too Redhot! I didn't get to post on your intro thread.. it was already locked by the time I saw it. :redface: Welcome aboard! :-D
 
Welcome! I'm loving that we are getting a lot more interest from the spouses lately!:cool:

I'd ask my wife to join, but she doesn't cook, and thinks I'm nuts taking pics of food to post here on the forums. I don't think she'll be joining in the fun.
