i have someone who wants to sell their traeger grill for $200. it does not have electronic control and i about 5 yrs hold. It is rather large but I am not sure on the model. What do used traegers go for in decent condtition? thanks

If it's any larger than the Junior model, it could be a great deal, especially if its the Texas model or larger. Which model or at least the dimensions would help us a lot to provide an estimate on used pricing. Any chance of a pic?

BUY IT RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! You can't find a traeger for that price - that's a farkin' steal! I've owned a traeger for 20 years - that's a good deal.

get that traeger right now!!! that is a steal. I am almost sure that is american made with the thicker steel, I have the 124, about that age, and still works perfect.

It is in the garage!!

The inside is a bit rusted and flaky. But it is thick so it is still stout. The roll top lid binds a bit but not bad. He had an extra heating rod, coupons from traeger when he bought it, it is 4 yrs old, and he threw in a 16" variable speed craftsman scroll saw used once for free. it is $120 new.... FYI. if you test out a pellet grill then throw it in a bed of a truck and drive 60mph it starts right back up w/o elec. and smokes all they way home. Is there anything I should do to it? any routine maintenance? I have never had a pellet grill just a GOSM.

1. A shop vac will be your best friend with traeger. It is the easiest way to get the ash out of the fire pot.
2. Wrap the drip tray in heavy duty aluminum foil for easy clean up later.
