I am in the process of reading the massive uds thread. I have located some drums that at one time held printers ink in them, are these ok to use after a good burn out??

Everything is good to cook in after a quality burn-out. Both of my UDS' had automotive lubricants in them originally. Burned em out, sanded and seasoned. No off flavors or sicknesses.

Mine had car wash soap in it before I got it. Burn it out and you're good to go.

For your own reasurrance do another burn or two. Mine had Coconut Oil in it. I burned mine out twice just for my own piece of mind. Plus it was cool to watch the fire in the holes drilled out for the intakes and bolt holes.
Hope it all turns out for ya.
