On this cook I filled my basket with briquettes and dumped half a chimney of lump on top to get it going. I looks to me like the stoker and the lump make more of a temperature deviation than the briquettes.

So I was curious, what type of fuel most of you are using in your UDS?

OK, the computer geek/engineer in me wants to know how you got your data. It looks like you have a guru type setup, is it part of that?

I have a stoker hooked to a wireless bridge to obtain an IP address with "stoker log" software.

At work I can remote into my home computer to monitor and change temps. The cool part is I can access this from my phone or have it send email updates.

You say this is a UDS, there may be an air leak.

BTW, now you have me wanting one of these so I can write an android app to monitor my smoker from my phone.
